Sustainability standards are a set of principles and standards that aim to achieve a balance between environmental, social and economic dimensions in human operations and activities, in order to ensure the long-term sustainability of resources, the environment and societies. These standards include a set of principles and standards that can be applied in various sectors and fields, including the environment, social development, business, urban planning, and others.<\/p>

Among the famous and widely used criteria for achieving sustainability, we can mention:<\/p>

  1. ISO 14001 standard<\/strong>It is an international standard for environmental management that seeks to improve the performance of companies and institutions in the field of the environment and the preservation of natural resources.<\/p><\/li>

  2. ISO 26000 standard<\/strong>: Focuses on corporate social responsibility and provides a framework for identifying and implementing sustainable practices in business.<\/p><\/li>

  3. LEED (Leadership Rating for Environmental Design) standard<\/strong>: It aims to promote environmental design and sustainability in buildings, civil engineering and urban neighborhood design.<\/p><\/li>

  4. Fair Trade standard<\/strong>: Focuses on achieving economic and social justice for farmers and workers in developing countries, ensuring that they receive fair prices and good working conditions.<\/p><\/li>

  5.
