These challenges and how to reach positive results in dealing with those challenges and difficulties based on (SWOT analysis)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>First: elements of strength<\/strong><\/p><ol><li>The college gains its strength through its reliance on advance and thoughtful planning and working with the system of government institutions in managing the college, which enables it to achieve its goals, mission and vision in society.<\/li><li>The college relies on the academic staff and competencies it possesses to achieve its goals and mission.<\/li><li>Relying on the scientific research index, developing scientific research plans, and working to raise the college\u2019s index in international peer-reviewed scientific journals.<\/li><li>The use of modern educational platforms and the tangible development of most college teachers in dealing with electronic teaching.<\/li><\/ol><p><strong>Second: Elements of weakness<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>Limiting it to one department only and not creating other scientific departments<\/li><li>Reluctance to apply to study at the college by students residing in other governorates, as well as by foreign students from other countries.<\/li><li>Concentration in one geographical location and lack of branches in other areas affiliated with the college.<\/li><li>The college\u2019s modest financial returns are reflected negatively on the implementation of its strategic plans and the college\u2019s development process.<\/li><\/ul><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p><strong>\u00a0Third: Challenges<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>One of the most important challenges faced by the college and private colleges in general is the incentive among faculty members to search for jobs in the public sector as a result of the lack of a retirement law for employees and workers in private educational institutions.<\/li><li>The competition faced by private education institutions as a result of the policies of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at developing new educational institutions.<\/li><li>The low educational level of accepted students that the college faces is a result of the weak outcomes of secondary education institutions, and this matter is reflected in the levels of teaching and learning in general.<\/li><li>The dark outlook that private education institutions face as a result of campaigns questioning the scientific sobriety within which the college operates.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Fourth: Opportunities<\/strong><\/p><ul><li>The support provided by the college dean to implement the strategic plan in a way that ensures the achievement of its goals and success.<\/li><li>The founding body provides unlimited support to the college in a way that enables it to achieve the goals of the strategic plan.<\/li><li>The good reputation and trust that the college enjoys among the community and respect for its status.<\/li><li>Paying attention to the requirements of the labor market and focusing on meeting the ambitions of students.<\/li><li>The existence of cooperation agreements between the college and a number of other private colleges, such as Mesopotamia University College and Al-Rashid University College.<\/li><li>Adopting a policy of constructive cooperation with civil society institutions and the private sector.<\/li><\/ul><p><strong>Mechanisms for developing the college and increasing its activities<\/strong><\/p><p>\u00a0The mechanisms used focus on developing and improving education and its quality.
