تأسس قسم القانون في كلية الإدريسي الجامعة بموجب كتاب وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي/ دائرة التعليم الجامعي الأهلي بالعدد ت هـ أ/ ك 9600 في 31/5/2018. حيث ان خريج قسم القانون يكون حاصل على شهادة البكالوريوس بالقانون بما يؤهله الانتماء للاتحادات والنقابات الحقوقية كنقابة المحامين واتحاد الحقوقيين العراقي والعربي ، وله أن يمتهن مهنة المحاماة أو التقديم للقبول في المعهد القضائي وفق الشروط المحددة للقبول فيه ودخول سلك القضاء ، إضافة لإمكانية مواصلة الدراسات العليا في تخصص القانون وفق شروطها ، وله التقديم للتوظيف في دوائر الدولة المختلفة ضمن الوحدات القانونية فيها.
First: Vision
The Law Department seeks to occupy a distinct position among the faculties of law at the local, Arab, regional and international levels and works to win the trust of all by providing a stable environment for education, scientific research and community service.
Second: Letter
The letter of the Law Department is advanced for enrolment and dissemination of a culture of justice and protection of human rights by raising awareness of his human rights and establishing the foundations for the preservation of public freedoms in Iraqi society and raising human awareness of his parents' rights and obligations and attention to legal research based on the formulation of ideas in order to contribute to addressing the issues suffered by the society.
Third: Objectives
One of the most important objectives of our distinguished faculty's law department is:
- Creating the right scientific climate for creativity in various branches of legal sciences through the adoption of advanced academic methods and programs in order to contribute to the graduation of qualified and trained women in legal and legitimate business and to meet the latest developments in the field of law.
- Provide graduates through continuous education with skills to gain scientific experience that enables them to invest legal knowledge based on their own efforts and create basic possibilities that enable them to keep abreast of legal developments and developments.
- To contribute actively to the dissemination and development of the levels of legal culture in society through lectures and symposiums for law professionals in various State departments and governmental and non-governmental institutions.
- Providing legal and specialized advice.. Such as explaining laws and expressing legal opinions on judicial decisions and decisions and providing legal advice and information to those who wish to do so in order to achieve justice and to demonstrate the truth.
- Encourage students to undertake scientific research in all fields of legal specialization by writing and publishing scientific research.
