A bachelor's degree in medical equipment technology engineering, recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, is then awarded to the graduate for a period of four years.
The department contains rooms for theoretical studies and a number of laboratories covering all the required disciplines during the four years spent by the student at the college.
The Department of Medical Devices Technology Engineering is that interconnected section between electrical, electronic, mechanical and control engineering making it a link between these departments which serves as megatronics engineering. This specialization is distinguished as a qualification for engineers who graduate from working in the aforementioned fields. This department is also characterized by the performance of the graduate with a very high professionalism because of his performance responsibility to deal with medical and human machinery which is used to diagnose pathological conditions as it requires high accuracy, performance and professionalism.

The Department of Medical Devices Engineering's mission is to provide an educational, technical and research environment for students through modern educational programs and curricula that demonstrate the importance of this specialization. Provide scientific curricula, practical laboratories and advanced applied research to simulate the need of the labour market and open up to health institutions and contribute to improving health realities at the international and regional levels.
The student learns in each different course of study and the most important curricula and skills related to the various practical and scientific sectors that demonstrate the importance of this specialization.
